The SV550 122mm telescope adopts a FPL-51 triplet apochromatic lens structure which contains one piece of ED glass. The triplet lens provides better correction of aberration and significantly reduces chromatic aberration, enhancing the clarity and sharpness. Fully multicoated triplet apochromatic optics using an ED center element.

The SV550 refractor is compatible with 2-inch and M63*1 accessories. The thread length is 87mm, providing precise focus. Tightened screws make the internal structure more stable. The CNC multifunctional double hinge split tube ring offers a solid structure.

The gear ratio of the dual-speed 2.5-inch toothed focuser is 1:10. This handle is specially designed for the SV503-102mm f/7 and SV550 122mm f/7 telescopes. The distance between the two M6 screws is 187mm, making it easy to lift the telescope after installation.
